Scientific Research Deanship Participated at the Induction Meeting for Post-Graduate Female Students organized by Post-Graduate Studies Deanship (females section). The participation was represented in a visual presentation by Dr. Hanady Behiry, Vice-Dean of Scientific Research for Quality and Academic Accreditation. Dr. Hanady presented the the deanship vision, mission, goals, its administrative structure, and the agencies affiliated to the deanship and the tasks assigned to each agency. She also shed light on the research centers of the deanship in addition to pointing out the interrelation between the activities of the Deanship with the post-graduate female students. Then, Dr. Haifaa Fada, Vice President of Arab Language Research Center and the Supervisor of Sufaraa Program, presented briefly the the two research scholarships, their goals, their outcomes, and the conditions of enrollment in the scholarship which is dedicated to bachelor, master's, and PHD students. Dr. Haifaa also pointed out in the course of her presentation that participation in scientific conferences shall be through a scientific poster or a scientific paper with a specific budget, and that Daris Scholarship is dedicated to supporting post-graduate students in master's and PHD programs. in accordance to a specific restrictions and a specific budget. She also casted light on (Scientific Research Lighthouse): a scientific account launched by the Scientific research Deanship and concerned with providing updates in the scientific field. Dr. Haifaa ended her presentation by highlighting the initiative of Arab Language Research Center (Linguistic Guide): an account dedicated to providing linguistic and grammatical instructions to avoid the mistakes that researchers commit in writing their researches.
After that, Dr. Noura Al-Farouqi, Vice President of Engineering Research Center, talked briefly about the foreign scholarships for post-graduate female students and pointed out that the scholarships are transferred to Science and Technology Unit to follow with them.
Dr. Sumayyah Sharaf, Vice-dean of the College of Education and the leader of Ataa Research Initiative, ended the presentation with a brief word regarding the vision and mission of the initiative and its stages, goals, and outcomes. She invited the students to enroll in the volunteering research to invest their creative powers via the registration link (bar code).
At the end of the meeting many students asked about the research scholarships and its advantages, and the important conferences they can register at in Sufaraa Program.
