UQU Organizes Training Program for 90 Senior Male and Female Employees

University of Umm Al-Qura (UQU) has launched Job Performance Management Course  for 90 of its senior employees including male and female directors of the departments in collaboration with Business Center of the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh. The Course took place in one of the smart halls of the Administrative Development Unit at the university campus in Abdyia.  

 

Meanwhile, UQU Vice President, Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou said "as part of the directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and based on the circular issued by the Undersecretary of the Civil Service Ministry for Planning and Development referring to Job Performance Regulation issued according to the decision of the Minister of Civil Service on the training of administrative leaders on the new Job Performance Bylaw, UQU management embarked on fulfilling this program within its endeavors to boost and increase efficiency of its human resources and develop and the administrative skills of all male and female employees in the university including administrative staff and technicians  to achieve highest level of work in the training requirement fields and the administrative development of the human resources in line with the job description of each employee.

 

He lauded support and directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and his permanent keenness to upgrade educational system and administrative work environment in the finical affairs and planning and to keep in touch with all the categories which the university has the honor to provide its services including; faculty members, employees, and students. He also lauded efforts exerted by the Director of the Administrative Development Unit Mr. Fahd Al-Sharif and the members of the team working with him.  

 


For huis part, Mr. Fahd Al-Sharif said this training program is one of series of training programs carried out in collaboration with the  Business Center of the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh, pointing out the strategy of the Administrative Development Unit is based on utilization of training experience inside and outside the University in the field of training and administrative development. It also depends on partnerships with agencies that have valuable experience in areas of training, development and organization.

 


Al-Sharif further underscored that; depending on the support attached to the Unit by the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas, and the follow up and supervision of UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir Shoushou, the Unit embarks on coming out with specialized training outputs in the technical and administrative fields to create future efficiencies serving Umm Al-Qura university in such manner fitting its enjoyed scientific prestige.
He added that the training program was carried out for 60 male departments directors and 30 female directors.
