The Vice-Dean, The 2030 Vision Puts The KSA Among the Producing Countries

The vice-dean of Umm Al Qura University, Dr. Yasser bin Sulaiman Shosho, asserted that the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 2030 presented by HE Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and Minister of Defense, and approved by the cabinet moves KSA from being a consuming country to the level of producing countries that depends on knowledge-based economy.

He pointed out that this vision benefits from the diverse sources ranging from the human cadre and various sources that can bypass the oil phase and avoid the need for it in the future.

He said that this vision is aligned with the prestige of the Kingdom, especially that it is among the economically strongest worldwide twenty countries and has a direct impact on the global economy. He noted that this vision invites all citizens and residents in this generous country to be proud of it, pointing out that it paves the way for full and comprehensive economic transformation that will have a wide influence on all fields at the political, economic, social and cultural level.

Dr. Yasser explained that this transformation will have positive consequences in the future to provide good life and environment for citizens in terms of the standard of living, leisure and cultural life. He pointed out that this plan will ensure a prosperous future in the long term for the people of this country; which makes it a rich country that depends on untraditional economics.
