Within the endeavor to support the efforts exerted by Al-Leith University College in refining the skills of the students and developing the abilities and skills of graduates of different academic departments, the Department of Mathematics organized a training course entitled: “Statistical Analysis of Data”, on Tuesday, 13 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1443 A.H., which lasted two hours, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The course was presented by Dr. Muhammad Atef Abdullah, an academic staff member in the department, in the presence of a number of academic staff members from the college and a number of graduates.

The course focused on continuing the practical part of the training by using the SPSS program and completing what was tackled in the first course on "Steps in Conducting a Statistical Study", which was held on Wednesday, 11 Sha`ban 1442 A.H. This was by giving examples of frequency tables, outlining how to find the central tendency and to calculate the confidence interval for a community average for a random sample, and explaining the method of calculating statistical hypothesis testings.
