The University President approved the decisions of the Academic Council, in its first session, for the academic year 1443 A.H., regarding the promotion of a number of academic staff members, whose names are as follows:
Dr. Khalid bin Hamoud Muhammad Al-Usaimi, who was promoted to the rank of professor at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education.
Dr. Abdullah bin Dakhilullah bin Awad Al-Thaqafi, who was promoted to the rank of professor at the Department of Visual Arts in the College of Designs and Arts.
Dr. Abdul-Qayyum Abdul-Ghafour Qamar Al-Din Al-Sindi, who was promoted to the rank of professor at the Department of Qur'anic Recitations in the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion.
Dr. Hanadi bint Muhammad Omar Siraj Qamrah, who was promoted to the rank of professor at the Department of Housing and Home Management in the College of Designs and Arts.
Dr. Reem bint Khalf bin Moftin Al-Jueid, who was promoted to the rank of professor at the Department of Language, Syntax and Morphology in the College of Arabic Language.
Dr. Faizah bint Salim Salih Ahmad, who was promoted to the rank of professor at the Department of Arabic Language Teaching at the Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers.
Dr. Mona bint Muhammad bin Abdullah Hajji, who was promoted to the rank of professor at the Department of Fashion Design in the College of Designs and Arts.
Dr. Muhammed bin Abdu Ahmad Gharawi, who was promoted to the rank of associate professor at the Department of Quranic Recitations in the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion.
Dr. Ali bin Abdul-Rahman Muhammad Al-Zubaidi, who was promoted to the rank of associate professor at the Department of Education and Psychology in Al-Qunfudhah University College.
Dr. Muhammad bin Abdu Hassan Adawi, who was promoted to the rank of associate professor at the Department of Media in Al-Leith University College.
