The academic staff members in the male and female sections of the Department of Shari`ah honored His Eminence Dr. Khalid bin Eid Al-Jiraisi in the presence of His Eminence Dr. Ra'id bin Khalaf Al-Usaimi, the Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies. The honoring ceremony took place on Sunday, 5 Safar 1443 A.H., at the council of the Department of Shari`ah, in recognition of the blessed efforts Dr. Khalid exerted during his tenure as the Head of the Department of Shari`ah.
