The College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, represented by the Public Relations Unit, held a meeting entitled “By the Ten Nights” (referring to the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah) on Sunday, 1 Dhul Hijjah 1442 A,H. The meeting was presented by Dr. Nadia Al-Lihyani, a faculty member in the Department of Shari`ah.
At the beginning of the meeting, the presenter explained how to receive these ten days, and then she spoke about the virtues of these days and the desirable deeds one should do in them, such as fasting, Sadaqah (voluntary charity), reciting the Qur'an, and Takbir. Dr. Nadia concluded the meeting by answering the attendees' inquiries.
The Vice Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, Prof. Nourah Al-Mihmadi, gave a certificate of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Nadia Al-Lihyani for organizing this meeting.
