The Faculty of Social Sciences won most of the awards of the competitions of the Seventh Scientific Forum for the University students that was held on 25-26/06/1437 Hijri. The University Vice-President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Seroji, congratulated the Faculty and, on behalf of the University President, handed the Forum memorial shield to Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Basaqr, the Faculty Dean, and highly praised the scientific performance of students of the Faculty and the efforts of its staff members.

Dr. Basaqar, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, said that the Faculty, in addition to winning most of the competitions, recorded the highest participation rate in all fields of the Forum, with 73 participations, which is the highest participation rate among all faculties in the history of scientific forums organized by the University. This shows that the Faculty is very keen on participation in all fields and shows the advanced level of our students in using modern technology, especially in creating awareness movies.

Students’ participations qualify them to participate in the seventh Conference to be held in Al Madinah Al Munawarah for all Saudi universities. The Faculty receives great support from the University President, Dr. Bakry bin Maatouq Assas, who saves no effort to provide the Faculty with all what it needs, this had great effect on the Faculties qualitative and quantitative participations, he concluded.
