Dr. Wardah bint Abdullah Al-Asmari

  • PhD in Embryology and Anatomy, College of Medicine (University of Dundee, UK, 2013 A.C.).
  • Master of Anatomy (University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, 2008 A.C.).
  • Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences (Umm Al-Qura University, 2005 A.C.).

(2) Academic Career:

  • Appointed as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Anatomy, October 13, 2004 A.C.
  • Received a scholarship from Umm Al-Qura University on 21 March 2007 A.C. to study in the United Kingdom to obtain MSc and PhD degrees in anatomy and embryology.
  • Appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy, UQU College of Medicine, on 17 April 2014 A.C.
  • Promoted to Associate Professor on 27 June 2019 A.C.
  • Classified as a consultant embryologist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in 2018 A.C.

Dr. Wardah participated in a number of scientific conferences, seminars and workshops inside and outside the Saudi Kingdom. In addition, she participated in peer-reviewing some scientific journals.

The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs has presented (27) scientific research projects during her academic career, all of them focusing on anatomy and embryology.
