The Purchasing and Bidding Department is one of the university's sectors that is tasked with the mission of securing the needs of all the sectors of the university that help it carry out its educational, research and service tasks and responsibilities. The aim is to improve the quality of its performance, thereby providing a good educational, cultural and social environment for our dear male and female students and achieving the aspirations of the beneficiaries regarding the services provided by the university. This is performed in accordance with the rules and regulations in force in all government sectors and in the light of the decisions and financial controls set for the process of securing its requirements, via public competitions or direct insurance, in accordance with the plans and objectives set by the higher management and in cooperation with national companies and institutions. The goal is to provide the requirements of the insurance process at the lowest prices while meeting the best specifications stipulated and established by the various sectors of the university.

In addition, the department also works to contribute to all the educational, research, training, service and social activities required of the university to maintain the highest quality in carrying out such activities.
