Qualifications and Degrees

  • Bachelor of Islamic history with educational qualification from the Department of Islamic History at the College of Shari'ah 'Islamic Law' and Islamic Studies (the branch of King Abdul Aziz University in Mecca / formerly/ Umm Al-Qura University now) in 1400 AH.
  • A lecturer in the Department of History in UQU in 1406 AH.
  • Master degree in Islamic history with a grade of "excellent" and a recommendation to print the thesis on the expense of the university in 1410 AH from UQU. The subject of the thesis was: (Umayyad dynasty during the reign of the Caliph Yazid bin Abul Malek).
  • PhD in Islamic history with a grade of "excellent" and a recommendation to print the thesis  in 1417 AH from UQU. The subject of the thesis was: (Sham Christians under Muslim rule since the conquest until the end of the Umayyad dynasty).
  • Assistant professor in 1418 AH.
  • Associate professor in 1425 AH.

  • Worked as a teacher in public education at the Ministry of Education between 1400-1405 AH.

Research:

  • Ahabish and their situation from the conflict between the Quraysh and the Muslims. This research was presented in the scientific meeting of the Society of History and Archeology at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Sharjah (Edition: first edition, periodicals of the Research Center for Historical Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, 1422).
  • Al Hussein bin Ali Alfakhi movement in the Medina and Mecca and its political impact on the Abbasid state. This research was presented in the scientific meeting of the Society of History and Archeology of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held in Doha during the period 7-10 / 2/1425 AH (Edition no. [12] of the research series at the Research Center of the College of Arts and Humanities at King Abdulaziz University, the Scientific Publishing Center at  King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah).
  • Kharijites and Njaddat and their political impact on the Umayyad period (edition: Seventh issue of a series of arbitrated scientific deliberations of the annual meeting of the Society of History and Archeology at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) along ages). The research was presented in the Society scientific meeting in Manama.
  • The situation of the Jews in Sham towards the Islamic conquest (edition [28], in 1424 AH, UQU Journal). The research was presented in the scientific meeting of the Saudi Historical Society in Riyadh.
  • Seditions and their impact on Hajj in the Umayyad period (this research was presented at the scientific meeting of the Society of History and Archeology at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Manama, in 1431 AH "and it is in the press).

  

Lectures, Meetings, Seminars and Scientific Conferences:

  • "Mecca Virtues", delivered on the occasion of selecting Mecca as the capital of Islamic culture.
  • "The history of dialogue with non-Muslims", delivered on Anwar Ashqi forum in Jeddah.
  • Managed the seminar "He simply was a father to his people," about the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al  Saud, Allah's mercy be upon him, on the occasion of the National Day. The seminar was held in the Literary Club in Mecca, in 1429 AH.
  • Managed the seminar "the inherited Meccan crafts," organized by the Cultural Literary Mecca Club corresponding 16/6/1413 AH.
  • Managed the seminar "The virtues of the Prophet, may Allah bless him, at the College of Shari'a.
  • Managed the seminar: (Nasser Al Harthy in the hearts of his homeland and its citizens), hosted by the Cultural Literary Club in Taif in his honor and in recognition of his scientific efforts.
  • Participated in the conference: History in the pre-university and university education, hosted by the Arts and Literature Welfare Supreme Council and held in Hama, Syria 2006.
  • Presented number of research in meetings, seminars, and scientific conferences.

  • Discussing a Master's thesis entitled: "Tales of bin Aa'idh Al Demashki through the book of "ibn Assaker" from the prophetic mission till 40 AH."
  • Discussing  a Master's thesis entitled: "the history of Toledo in the Islamic era, a cultural historical study."
  • Discussing a Master's thesis entitled: "Biography of the Prophet through Thalabi interpretation from the first year of migration until the end of the fourth year of migration."

  • Supervised a Master Thesis entitled: "Caliph Omar ibn Al-Khattab policy towards dhimmis" Taibah University.
  • Supervised a Master Thesis entitled: "Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad and his political role in the Umayyad period," the College of Education in Jeddah.
  • Supervises a PhD thesis entitled: "The role of scientists in public life during the Seljuk era" UQU.
  • Supervises a Master Thesis entitled: "The effect of alliances (Ahlaf) on Islamic advocacy and the state in the era of prophecy" UQU
  • Supervises a PhD thesis entitled: "The security policy of the Orthodox Caliphs" UQU

 

Evaluation and Review:

  • Reviewed the curriculum of the Prophet's biography prepared by UQU for its students.
  • Reviewed the news book of the modernizer scholar Abdullah bin Hassan bin Hassan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, for its author Ibrahim bin Mansour Al Amir.
  • Evaluated a book entitled: "The role of the tribes in the Islamic conquests of the Iraq, Sham, and Egypt and its impact on the spread of Islamic civilization", by the Mecca Cultural Literary Club.
  • Evaluated a research entitled: "prophetic signs to future events, historical study 11-35h" by the university magazine for Shari'a and Arabic language and literature sciences.
  • Evaluated a research entitled: "Year of the group … a historical study" by the university magazine for Shari'a and Arabic language and literature sciences.
  • Evaluated a research entitled: "the conquest of Makkah, lessons, and sermons" by the university magazine for Shari'a and Arabic language and literature sciences.

 

Workshops

  • Participated in the workshop (Hajj during the Umayyad period) within the project of the project of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques Encyclopedia under the umbrella of the King Abdulaziz Foundation (Darah) in 1430 AH.
  • Participated in the founding workshop of the chair of Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz for studies of the history of Arabian Peninsula chair at the King Abdulaziz Foundation (Darah).
  • Participated in the founding workshop of the chair of King Abdulaziz for the studies of the history of Saudi Arabia.
  • Participated in the workshop of the future vision for education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized by the National Dialogue Center in Makkah under the umbrella of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz public education development project "Tatweer".
  • The coordinator of the workshop of Mecca history within the project of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques Encyclopedia.
