Praise be to Allah, and peace be upon Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. Given the paramount importance of nursing, deemed to be one of the loftiest professions, for its noble mission, it was indispensable to establish the College of Nursing, with its various departments.

 

The Department of Nursing Science and Research is integrated with the other department of the college, partaking in providing students, through a constellation of highly qualified faculty members and technicians, with the principles and basics of medical and nursing sciences. Through deep, extensive comprehension of nursing concepts, evidence-based nursing, and nursing research, students are likely to have the capability of applying research results in nursing practices, and, at length, in the broader community.

 

In conclusion, we hope that our department could attain the lofty position that it deserves, by means of realizing the quality standards through which to cope with the accelerated developments in this area. We also wish to take part in preparing and qualifying graduates who will contribute to building and improving the health sector in general, and nursing in particular. We hope they can provide optimum services to the patients, the guests of Allah, and the community, and fulfill our precious homeland’s vision 2030. Finally, we wish all the students success and guidance throughout their academic and career journey.
