The Saudi computers colleges have expanded considerably in the last few years, expanding the range of degrees offered and magnifying their impact on society by their participation in keeping up with up-to-date technological developments, to meet the requirements of both the higher education system and the ever-changing labour market.

The Fifth National Conference of Saudi Computers Colleges (5th NCCC), held at Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, builds on previous efforts to establish a scientific forum to bring together practitioners, academics, and researchers to share knowledge and experiences to take the Saudi computing education to the next expected level.

About the conference

The Fifth National Conference of Saudi Computers Colleges (5th NCCC) is an annual conference that brings together researchers and academics from a wide range of computer disciplines, including but not limited to computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, software engineering. Submissions are welcome from all over the world. We invite submissions presenting original research on topics including but not limited to:

  • Artificial intelligence and Robotics
  • CyberSecurity
  • Internet of Things
  • Theoretical aspects of computing
  • Social aspects of computing and privacy
  • Applications of computing in different fields
  • Cloud computing
  • Data analytics
  • Wireless communications

Authors will be asked to present their work in-person during the conference. The conference will also host a range of workshops. The conference will also be a platform for exchanging success stories and best practices among Saudi computers colleges with the aim to enhance the quality of educational systems in these colleges and strengthening their role in achieving digital transformation to serve the Kingdom’s ambitious vision 2030. In addition, the conference participants will share ideas and experiences to implement a qualitative shift in academic curricula and study plans in line with national and international standards and accreditations, in addition to labour market needs.
