Dear male/female student ...
Based on the UQU President's circular regarding conducting the remaining theoretical exams for this academic year remotely, we offer you these important instructions for electronic exams, which we wish you will take into consideration to facilitate the process of electronic exams:
General information on the exams:
By default, the camera and mic will be forced to operate in the virtual classroom approximately 15 minutes before the start of the exam.
Before the exam:
- Choose a quiet, separate space for the entire exam period (ambient sounds are considered attempts to cheat).
- Check device settings in sufficient time to avoid technical issues during the exam, and check the camera and mic. Make sure that the device is connected to the power source during the exam, in case the battery becomes low, and check everything that will ensure the exam will be conducted as required (you can use the main default class for any course to complete the process).
- The camera should be set at a proper position and angle so that it clearly covers the area of the face and arms (not being restricted to this is considered an attempt to cheat).
- Ensure that there is a stable internet connection.
- Log in before the time to avoid log-in problems during the exam (please save the username and password and do not share it with others, because that would put you under liability).
- Check the exam information (date, time, duration, number of attempts, name of the course, number of questions, and presentation method).
During the exam:
- Ensure that all questions are solved and answers are saved.
- Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet before pressing the Submit button.
- The exam will be recorded by video and audio, with an invigilator attending during the exam.
- It is forbidden to bring the cell phone into the exam room (if the sound of a cell phone is heard, this will be considered an attempt to cheat)
- It is forbidden to use internet websites while taking the exam.
- Please ensure that you manage your time during the exam to be able to answer all the questions (see the exam timer).
After the exam:
- Ensure that the exam is sent correctly, according to the message shown in front of you on the screen.
- Ensure that you log out to maintain the confidentiality of your account and data.
- All registrations will be reviewed, and in case of doubt about any of the above criteria, the student will be referred to a committee authorized to investigate the matter.
- We wish you good luck and success. We also hope that you do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or inquiries.
