Abstract
This research to provide an answer to the questions and similarities raised about the Zoroastrian Magian religion, which is whether it is a heavenly religion? Is Zoroaster a prophet? Or a pretender to prophecy? Is Zoroastrianism the Magi or is it different from it? Are the Magi people of the Book? How did Zoroastrianism develop? Do Zoroastrians worship fire or do they just sanctify it? Accordingly, the research consists of an introduction, a preface, four sections, and a conclusion, and its approach is inductive, analytical, critical, in which I mentioned a brief about the Magi and explained that it is a bee found in Persia before Zoroastrianism, then mentioned the emergence of the Zoroastrian religion and its stages of development, and wrote a brief about their holy book, beliefs and rituals, and concluded the investigations with criticism of religion in the light of the Islamic religion, and in the conclusion I mentioned the most prominent results and recommendations The Zoroastrian religion is consistent with the monotheistic religions in some of its origins, such as worshiping God alone without a partner, believing in the Last Day, the path, paradise, and hell, and meets them in their etiquette that commands goodness and good deeds, and some of its beliefs contained in the texts of (Avista) differ with the beliefs of all the prophets - peace be upon them - in explicit contradiction, such as: Describing God with imperfect qualities that he removes from them; This contradiction is a definitive indication of its distortion and alteration, or that these beliefs and legislation corresponding to what is stated in the true Islamic religion are interjected in the Avista, and not originally in it, and that they were influenced by the beliefs and rituals contained in the true Islamic religion after the Islamic conquests, and I recommended the scholars and students to track and follow up on all that spreads among people of false beliefs, suspicions that contradict the true Islamic religion, its teachings, and its tolerant values, and diligence in analyzing them, refuting them, and criticizing them.
