Abstract

In this research, the researcher dealt with the investigation of a manuscript tagged with: (Mukhtasar Kitab al-Ruh by Ibn al-Qayyim), a summary of Imam al-Hafiz: Ismail bin Muhammad al-Baali (d. 786). The abbreviation includes a mention of the issue and the origin of the answer and sometimes mentions some of the statements on the issue. The abbreviation refrains from mentioning any evidence, discussion, or protest. The abbreviation included the same number of issues mentioned in the original: twenty-one issues, such as identifying the dead by visiting the living, the meeting of spirits, on whom death falls on the soul or body, and by what do souls distinguish from each other? And about the return of souls to bodies and the causes of their torment and salvation, as well as other issues of the soul and its relationship with the body and its base, which Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned in his book The Soul.
