Abstract

The emergence of financial technology led to the expansion of the volume of electronic commerce at the global level, by accelerating, facilitating and exchanging money, and investing it without restrictions between different countries of the world, This research aims to identify the role of the Saudi Central Bank in promoting the growth of the electronic payments sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to ensure stability and economic progress in it.

The research concluded that the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia has developed an integrated legislative framework with the aim of upgrading electronic payment systems and means in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which led to Saudi Arabia becoming a pioneer in the field of financial technology.
