Abstract

Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah is one of the innovative and diligent scholars with a passion for jurisprudential choices that correspond to the times, and keep pace with changing events, and from the humiliation of the issue of swearing by divorce and its suspension. He went to the fact that swearing to divorce and suspending it to encourage the act or prevent it if it is not intended to divorce, then it does not count as expiation for an oath. And a recent conversation between a victorious supporter and a critical opponent, and by his choice he took the most personal law-legators in the Islamic world, and a group of contemporary scholars issued fatwas on it.
