Abstract
This study aims to investigate a manuscript in Hanafi jurisprudence and its subject: Determining the ruling on the permissibility of i’tikaaf in the courtyards of mosques. It makes it easier for the reader to understand it by following the inductive method, and the historical (retrospective) method. The study confirms what the compiler has reached that the courtyard of the mosque has two rulings: the first: it takes the ruling of the mosque in the permissibility of i’tikaaf in it, and that i’tikaaf is not invalidated if it goes out to it, and the second: that it does not follow the ruling of the mosque in the inadmissibility of buying and selling and the passage of menstruating women and menstruating women in it, based on the rules of the Hanafi school.
