Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the level of sustainable thinking skills employed by female science teachers in the Sultanate of Oman and to examine whether there are statistically significant differences attributable to the variables of teaching experience and grade levels taught. The study sample consisted of 108 female science teachers from the South Al Batinah Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive research approach and developed a scale comprising 32 items, the validity and reliability of which were verified to achieve the study’s objectives. The results revealed that the level of sustainable thinking skills among science teachers was high. Moreover, no statistically significant differences were found in the level of sustainable thinking skills attributable to years of teaching experience or grade levels taught. Based on the findings of the study, several recommendations and research suggestions were proposed.
