The aim of the research was to identify the attitudes of graduate students at the College of Education, Taif University, towards selecting a scientific research title, in terms of the reality, problems, and suggestions they see for improving their method of choosing a scientific research title. The descriptive method was used. The analytical tool and the questionnaire applied to a sample of 26% of the college students from various departments, and the following results were reached: The reality axis scored high with a mean of 4.33 and a standard deviation of 0.851. The problem axis came to a moderate degree, with a mean of 2.53 and a standard deviation of 1.22. The proposals axis received a high score with a mean of 4.55 and a standard deviation of 0.64. No statistically significant differences were found at the level (a≤0.05) among students related to the variables: gender or specialization and their interaction. The study recommended the establishment of specialized committees within departments and the Deanship of Graduate Studies to develop research priorities from which students can select their research titles. These priorities should encompass most of the requirements for successful scientific research. The study also recommended specialized training courses to assist students in choosing outstanding research titles—titles that offer practical solutions to contemporary educational and societal problems and contribute something new to the scientific and practical fields. Furthermore, a training course specifically designed for selecting research titles could be added, clarifying the advantages and challenges researchers may encounter in choosing a particular title.
