Abstract
The study aimed to identify the reality of active learning among Arabic language teachers from the point of view of school principals. The study population included (75) principals from public and private schools affiliated with the Koura District Education Directorate in Irbid. The study sample consisted of (68) principals from the community’s school principals. The number of female principals in public schools reached (56), and (12) in private schools. To achieve the requirements of the study, a questionnaire was constructed that consisted of three areas: (type of strategy, linguistic material, and the goal of applying active learning). The results resulted that the reality of active learning among Arabic language teachers in the areas combined was at a high level, and in my area: the goal of using it. And the linguistic material used in it, while the field: type of strategy came in at a moderate level, and the results showed that there was no statistically significant difference attributed to the variables: academic qualification, years of experience, and type of school.
