Abstract
The study aimed to clarify the structural position of emotions in the formation of the human being, which highlights something of the reason behind the Islamic education’s concern for emotions. It also aimed to analyze the manifestations of the impact of emotions in the texts of revelation (the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah) and their relationship to moral responsibility and behavior, and to uncover the role of emotions in determining one’s destiny in the Hereafter, and to explain their relation to the soundness or corruption of the heart.The study relied on the inductive and analytical method, and reached a number of conclusions, including:

Contemporary psychological theories have highlighted the fundamental position of emotions, which connects them to beliefs on the one hand, and to behavior on the other, which provides justification for their central place in Islamic education.

• The texts of revelation have precisely embodied the impact of emotions, as it was shown through reviewing the texts that there are commendable emotions that are rewarded, realistic emotions that are to be guided, and blameworthy emotions that must be struggled against.

• Islamic education is concerned with the purification of emotions as a prelude to the purification of behavior, and it attaches to emo-tions rulings that may reach the level of affirming or negating faith, and determining the fate in the Hereafter.
