Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the degree to which teachers used digital platforms in teaching during the Corona pandemic (COVID-19) in the city of Mecca. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, and the study tool was a questionnaire that was divided into three axes: planning for teaching, implementing teaching, and evaluating it. The study sample consisted of (940) teachers in general education levels in the holy city of Mecca. The study concluded that teachers’ use of digital platforms in planning, implementing and evaluating teaching was low, and that there were statistically significant differences in favor of teachers who hold higher qualifications in planning, implementation and evaluation skills. There are also statistically significant differences in favor of teachers with less than ten years of service in planning and implementation skills and in favor of teachers with more than ten years of service in evaluation skills. The study also recommended conducting studies that address the training needs of teachers in using technology, and experimental studies on modern technologies. And how to benefit from it in the educational process.
