Abstract
The current research aims at investigating the causal modeling of marital aspects, intention and attitudes on happiness and mental health among A sample of Qatar University Students. The sample consists of 851 participants from Qatar University (age range= 18-30; M= 22.56, SD= 3.69). Marital aspects, intent and attitudes scales and happiness and psychological health scales were translated into Arabic. Results reveal that independent variables (intention to marry, marital aspects, positive attitudes towards marriage, negative attitudes towards marriage, and doubts and fears towards marriage) do not have the ability causally predict dependent variables (happiness and mental health) except for (marital aspects and intention to marry). Marital aspects predicted happiness and intention to marry predicted mental health.
