Abstract
The world is witnessing a huge revolution in the world of technology, rapidly and advancedly, in all areas of life., including education. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made a substantial impact on this field, playing a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education and improving the overall teaching process. Given education’s importance as a cornerstone of societal development, it is essential to highlight the role of AI in this sector. Therefore, the study aimed to determine the effectiveness of AI applications in teaching, specifically from the perspective of Islamic Studies teachers. The main research question addressed was: What is the effect of teachers’ knowledge of AI applications on improving educational quality and increasing the effectiveness of the teaching process in Islamic Studies? The study utilized a descriptive-analytical method to answer this question, revealing several key findings. Results showed a high level of effectiveness in using AI applications to teach Islamic Studies in Aljuof schools, leading to improved educational quality and increased teaching effectiveness. Additionally, the study found a statistically significant positive correlation between the use of AI applications and the enhancement of educational quality and teaching efficiency at a 0.01 significance level. The research concluded with recommendations, including the need to provide suitable working environments for integrating AI applications into teaching. This includes enhancing the technological infrastructure in educational institutions and offering training programs to teachers to increase their ability to effectively use AI tools in education.
