System for Archiving and Managing of and Creating Databases from the Institute’s Documents

The system for the archiving and managing of the Institute’s documents has sought to prepare and classify all the documents existing in the Research Unit that is affiliated with the Department of Information and Scientific Services, whether research and studies; academic papers and reports; executive plans and statistics; scientific and historical records, etc. These documents are inserted via scanners into very large databases; classified and reviewed automatically; and specialized databases are built from them. The databases are made ready to be searched and to provide material to decision makers; researchers; and the other entities working in the area of hajj and umrah pilgrimage from inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at maximum speed and with minimum cost and effort, and by different means of communication.
