General Admission Requirements
First: Admission to postgraduate programs for Saudi applicants and non-Saudi Residents within the Kingdom requires the following:
• The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum grade of Very Good to apply for academic master’s programs.
The Permanent Committee for Postgraduate Studies may accept applicants with a Good grade in medical, scientific, engineering, and computing disciplines, based on a recommendation from the department and college councils, provided the applicant achieves an excellent score in the admission test and submits exceptional professional or research experience.
• A minimum grade of Good is required for applicants to Executive Master’s and Higher Diploma programs.
• The applicant must hold a master’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum grade of Very Good to apply for doctoral programs.
• Applicants expected to graduate by the end of the 1447 AH academic year may apply; however, their nomination will be considered for available seats at a later stage after obtaining the qualification.
• Achieving the required score in the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates, as follows:

• Achieving the minimum required score in an English language test to apply for postgraduate programs in medical, scientific, engineering, and computing disciplines, according to the following approved tests and minimum scores:

• The English test score has got to be obtained within the last five years. Colleges may recommend higher minimum English requirements in accordance with program-specific admission conditions.
• Exemptions from the English language requirement apply to applicants who obtained their degrees from universities in countries where English is the official language, as well as applicants whose programs were taught in English, subject to providing supporting evidence.
• Passing the written departmental admission test is required for all Higher Diploma, Academic Master’s, Doctoral, and Medical Fellowship programs.
Special Conditions for Non-Saudi Residents within the Kingdom:
• Non-Saudi residents may apply through the university’s admissions portal, provided they are not sponsored by a Saudi university and obtain final approval for nomination through the (EdruS) platform .
Second: Admission requirements for international applicants sponsored by Saudi universities or applicants from outside the Kingdom:
• Applying through the (EdruS) platform in accordance with the approved and announced procedures.
• Obtaining final approval on (EdruS) platform.
• Holding a valid passport and not residing in the Kingdom or residing under the sponsorship of a Saudi university.
• Holding a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum grade of Very Good to apply for academic master’s programs. Applicants with a Good grade may be accepted into Executive Master’s and Higher Diploma programs.
• Holding a master’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum grade of Very Good to apply for doctoral programs.
• Applicants expected to graduate by the end of the 1447 AH academic year may apply, with nomination considered later after obtaining the qualification.
• Providing proof of Arabic language proficiency for programs taught in Arabic.
• Exemption from the Arabic language requirement applies to applicants who obtained degrees from programs taught in Arabic.
• Achieving the minimum required score in an English language test for graduate programs in medical, scientific, engineering, and computing disciplines, as follows:

Third: Application Fees
• The application fee for admission to postgraduate programs is SAR 300.
The following categories are exempt from paying the fee:
o People with disabilities.
o Children of fallen duty martyrs.
o Social security beneficiaries.
