First: Selection mechanism for applicants to Higher Diploma, Academic Master’s, and Doctoral programs (Saudis and non-Saudi residents within the Kingdom):
A weighted score is calculated for each applicant based on their results in the written admission test, the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates, and the applicant’s cumulative GPA in the qualifying degree, as follows:
• 40% – Written admission test
• 30% – Cumulative GPA of the previous qualification
• 30% – General Aptitude Test for University Graduates
For people with disabilities who are exempted from the General Aptitude Test, the weighted score is calculated as follows:
• 50% – Written admission test
• 50% – Cumulative GPA of the previous qualification
Second: Selection Procedure for applicants to Medical Fellowship programs:
The weighted score determining the applicant’s ranking is calculated as follows:
• 30% – Written admission test
• 30% – Cumulative GPA of the previous qualification
• 30% – Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) exam
• 10% – Personal interview
Third: Selection Procedure for applicants to Executive Master’s programs and non-Saudi applicants under external scholarship programs:
Applicants are selected by the departmental admission committees based on submitted research achievements, professional experience, Statement of Purpose, field of specialization, and cumulative GPA of the previous qualification.
