It is my great pleasure to welcome all those who visit the page of the Department of Electronic Industrial Engineering in the College of Engineering at Umm Al-Qura University. The department began awarding the bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering in the academic year of 1434 A.H., corresponding to 2013 A.C. The department is highly equipped with the latest laboratory equipment and teaching aids, and the academic plan has been constructed so as to meet the global technological developments and the labor market needs.

The Department of Industrial Engineering takes pride in its staff of highly distinguished faculty members, who conduct scientific, theoretical and applied research in various disciplines of industrial engineering. The department also aspires to graduate highly qualified engineers, both academically and technically, equipped with the necessary analytical scientific research tools to join other universities for postgraduate studies and research centers, and to work in production companies and factories and also different governmental institutions.

We constantly seek to develop our academic plan in order to cope with the latest developments in the field of industrial engineering and its applications, aiming at qualifying distinguished engineers on the domestic and regional levels.
