The Department of Physical Therapy (currently known as the Medical Rehabilitation Sciences) was established in the year of 1426 AH as one of the departments of the College of Applied Medical Sciences to offer only a Bachelor of Physical Therapy program, a five-year undergraduate program with four academic years and one year of field training (internship year). In the year of 1441 AH, a Master's Program in Physical Therapy was opened, which includes eight tracks (Sports Medicine - Pediatrics - Orthopedics - Neurology - Cardioplumonray - Women's Health - Surgery and Oncology - Clinical Electrophysiology).
