The General Administration of Institutional Communication was established on 14 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., by virtue of a decision taken by His Excellency the UQU President, being directly affiliated to him, in order to develop internal and external communication and efficiently manage the university's reputation as an institution. This helps to raise internal and external communication productivity (direct and indirect) to enhance the university role in community service and the Hajj and Umrah system, improve the current experience of the pilgrims, build the mental image of the institution, and improve the satisfaction rate of the internal and external beneficiaries.

This administration is responsible for the modeling, governance and development of communication processes, within a unified and integrated role system. Thanks to this system, the university will contribute to achieving the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 and institutional transformation consistent with the new university system. This will be performed through communication strategies that take into account global best practices to build a unique communication model capable of marketing the university achievements, capabilities and efficient personnel, of building high-yielding partnerships, and of contributing to financial sustainability.
