Within the framework of the collaboration between the Deanship of Library Affairs and the Arabian Advanced Systems Company (Naseej), on Thursday, 17 Ramadan 1442 A.H., at 10:00 p.m., the Deanship received the Vice President of the Company, Eng. Abdullah Al-Turaifi, and his accompanying delegation. The delegation was received by Dr. Khalid bin Sulaiman Maatouq, the Dean of Library Affairs, in the presence of Dr. Hasan Al-Thubaiti, the Vice Dean for Technical Affairs. The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Abdul-Hadi Al-Aidarous, the Head of the Department of Information Science, heads of the departments, and a group of female employees specialized in technical works, via the Microsoft Teams application.

During the meeting, the Naseej Company made a presentation about the modern systems in library management, which rely on artificial intelligence and are total dependent on the web. These systems can work from any place inside the university, can be integrated with the library's electronic services, and has other features and advantages.

Following the presentation, the male and female affiliates of the deanship took part in a discussion, raised questions, and provided ideas which enriched the meeting.

His Excellency the Dean concluded the meeting with thanks and appreciation for the efforts of Naseej, as a national company contributing to the development of business and technical procedures in university libraries.
