Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Iesa visited Umm Al-Qura University Pavilion at the 7th International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education (IECHE) while touring a number of universities pavilions on Thursday Rajab 16, 1438 H.
He was received by UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas, UQU Vice Presidents, Deans of Supportive Deanships and Founders of Wadi Makkah Startups.
During his visit, the minister checked on contents of UQU Pavilion including startups presentations, programs provided for UQU male and female students by Wadi Makkah Company, in addition to the programs of supportive deanships, Consulting Research and Studies Institute and other University programs.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Iesa expressed happiness for the inventions and innovations of the entrepreneurs of Wadi Makkah startups he viewed and wished them all success in their march to upgrade the university.
At the conclusion of the visit, the UQU President Dr. Assas presented a product of one of Wadi Makkah startups as a gift to the Minister of Education.
