President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas on Wednesday Rajab 15, 1438 H visited several  pavilions related to the universities, cultural missions and international universities participating in the 7th International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education (IECHE). He was accompanied by the President of Al-Baha University Dr. Nabeel Abdul-Qadir Koshak and UQU Vice Presidents.  

During the visit, Dr. Assas met with the presidents of the universities and discussed with them the educational and research march and what has been grasped by the universities to keep pace with the Kingdom vision 2030. He also reviewed some of the innovations and inventions made by number of students in the different medical and technical fields which will contribute to serve the community. 

Concluding his visit, he expressed admiration for the innovations and inventions of the universities students which he has viewed noting to the necessity of supporting these researches and innovations and transferring them into products to serve the community. He added that the 7thInternational Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education provides an opportunity for our students to review the latest programs of the universities in the innovative and research fields particularly that the slogan of the conference for this year is "Saudi Universities and Vision 2030: Knowledge is the Fuel of the Future".
