The University President approved the decisions of the Academic Council in its seventeenth session for the academic year 1442 A.H. regarding the promotion of a number of academic staff members, who are as follows:
Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Ahmad Muhsin Al-Hamidi to the rank of professor in the Department of `Aqidah at the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion
Dr. Al-Mahdi Muhammad Yusuf Abdul-Rahman Al-Harazi to the rank of professor in the Department of Shari`ah at the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies
Dr. Haifaa bint Ibrahim Habib Al-Shaibi to the rank of professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the College of Designs and Arts
Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Muhammad Al-Shahrani to the rank of associate professor in the Department of Hisbah at the Higher Institute for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil
Dr. Amani bint Ibrahim Muhammad Salih Al-Alawi to the rank of associate professor in the Department of Physics at the College of Applied Sciences
Dr. Ibtihal bint Hasan Abdullah Azouz to the rank of associate professor in the Department of Quranic Recitations at the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion.
