Dr. Yasser bin Suleiman Shosho, Vice-President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), launched the hashtag titled, (#Thanks_ UQU_Retirees) on the occasion of the Retirees Ceremony for the current year 1438H which celebrated their efforts for the service of UQU. This was on Wednesday, 23rd Jumada II 1438H at the Vice-President’s office in Al-Azizyah, and in the presence of Dr. Hisham bin Abdurrahman Maghribi (Manager of the Events and Activities Center), Dr. Khalid Al-Suleimi (Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuous Education), Prof. Omar Ba-Zaraa (Assistant Head of the Staff Affairs and Employees Department), Prof. Khalid bin Jameel Morsi (Head of the Public Relations Department), and the affiliates of the Media Unit.
This hashtag comes within the media campaign of the Retirees Ceremony worked on by the Public Relations Department and the Events and Activities Center at UQU, with the aim of highlighting the efforts and works of the retirees during their working period at the University.
UQU Vice-President thanked the retirees for their efforts during their working period at the University. He added that such ceremony was held to honor them, pointing out to the support and attention of the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, towards such distinguished event.
