Under the patronage of Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, Head of the Chemistry Department at Jamoum University College, a chemistry research laboratory was established at the Department in Rabi’e II 1434H. The purpose of its establishment was to assist the staff members of the Department to carry out some scientific researches and projects. This was in order to promote scientific research to be in the ranks of global levels, and to ensure the achievement of the mission of the university and the service of the knowledge and research community.
The research laboratory includes several devices, such as infrared, UV, fluorescent, centrifugal, and conductivity measuring devices.
