Dentistry Club at the Deanship of Students Affairs in collaboration with community friends charity association and community service unit at the college of Dentistry organized an awareness and therapeutic camping under the theme "Let's honor them by a Smile". The campaign targeted orphaned children and their mothers and the families taking care of them who are served by the community friend charity association.    

The campaign began with awareness lecture on oral and dental health for the caretaker moms and families while the children were a taken to several dentistry corners being displayed in a funny way.

Children started with corners for teaching them how to clean their mouths and teeth and showing the importance of such a thing using scientific experiments. After that, they moved to the corner of memory games which help children to remember important information on dental health and help them getting over their fear of the dentist. Then they moved to sentence ordering competition in which they read some rules of maintaining teeth health. After that, children were taught how to differentiate between good and bad food.  Afterward, children moved to the photo and gifts corner.

     
After that, children were moved to mobile clinics for initial screening and provide them with instant treatment or referring them to the Dental Teaching Hospital in the College. 
Dean of the Dentistry College, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Khotani paid a visit to the campaign and joined in their fun. He extended his sincere appreciation to the members of the club and all those in charge of this campaign led by Dr. Raghib Halwani and Dr. Mawada Mandora for their sincere efforts in this regard.  

 
The club also extended thanks to the officials of community service in the college and to the college vice dean for clinical affairs Dr. Hassan Hazzazi, and Dr. Sharei Hassan for their efforts to make the campaign a success.
