The conference sought to explore effective solutions to the challenges of pharmacy education, and to draw up development plans to improve its study programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This was achieved through seminars and scientific lectures conducted within the conference sessions reviewing educational issues, related research and studies, and applications using technology to develop the skills of pharmacy students and raise their levels and scientific capabilities.
The conference, through the scientific session chaired by the President of Taif University in addition to three other sessions, discussed several themes, in the forefront of which were: - The impact of the Saudi Pharmacist Licensure Examination (SPLE) on the pharmacy curricula in the Saudi Kingdom. - A presentation of the experiences and challenges of education under the current circumstances, in terms of integrating students into the teaching of various pharmacy courses. - Training courses for internship students. On the second day of the conference, the activities included intensive workshops to increase the effectiveness of the academics, training them in using different teaching and assessment methods to integrate students into the educational process.
