Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research (female section), hosted the female employees at the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs on Wednesday, 25 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1442 A.H. The meeting aimed to discuss aspects of joint collaboration, activate partnerships between the two entities, exchange expertise to develop human cadres, and upgrade the service of the guests of the Holy Mosques to live up to the aspirations of the country's wise leadership (may Allah support it).
Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, lauded the services provided by the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs to the pilgrims and visitors during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and how it devoted its utmost efforts to caring for their visitors. She referred to the praise of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Moaddi Aal Madh-hab, of the efforts of UQU, underlining that Umm al-Qura University is an extension of the message of the Holy Mosque in Makkah. Moreover, she commended the role of the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs in the service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli honored the guests for facilitating the tasks of researchers during the last period of the "Measuring Pilgrims and Visitors' Satisfaction" project, confirming the university’s keenness to continue building bridges of mutual cooperation between the two entities. On her part, the Vice Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, Dr. Sumayyah Hariri, stressed the need to integrate their role to serve the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques, within the framework of the joint cooperation between the two entities.
Moreover, the Deputy President for the Two Holy Mosques Affairs, Dr. Al-Anoud Al-Abboud, pointed out that these partnerships are in line with the aspirations of His Excellency the General President of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs, Prof. Abdul-Rahman Al-Sudais, to achieve the objectives of the "Service of the Guests of Al-Rahman" program, within the Saudi Vision 2030, regarding all that serves the guests of Al-Rahman.
The Head of the Department of Information Technology and Executive Director of the Project, Dr. Hani Al-Dibib, offered a brief presentation on the "Wifada" training platform to highlight the key parameters and milestones of the project and its training paths, prepared according to specific time plans. This is in addition to the project to train the Hajj and Umrah leaders, pointing out that such agreements between the two entities come as a culmination of the wise leadership's directives (may Allah support them) and its lauded care for the Two Holy Mosques and the service of their visitors.
