The College of Judicial Studies and Regulations launched an awareness-raising campaign on its website about breast cancer, with the slogan: "Pink Health". The campaign was launched under the auspices of Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, and with the participation of the UQU academic staff members and students.
This event coincided with the World Breast Cancer Day and aims to raise the awareness of the members of the female community, edify them on the importance of early detection to prevent this disease, and motivate patients to overcome the adverse health conditions.
On her part, the Vice Dean of the Department of Regulations, Dr. Tahani Bahwairath, emphasized the UQU's keenness on activating the campaign, despite the current difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic, by means of awareness-raising activities on the university's website. In addition, the activities of the campaign included designing a mural about breast cancer, publishing an awareness-raising booklet to highlight the patient's legal rights, and highlighting the Saudi Kingdom's efforts in raising awareness and addressing breast cancer. Her Excellency added that the campaign will continue throughout the month of October.
