Under the direction of the Vice Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College and the follow-up of the Deputy Supervisor of the Voluntary Work Unit at Al-Qunfudhah University College (female section), and based on the “Pink October” campaign, the Voluntary Unit launched the initiative for breast cancer awareness under the slogan of, "Health and Well-Being". The campaign took place on Wednesday, 27 Safar, 1442 A.H., at the female section of the university college. During the campaign, an introductory book about the unit was distributed, awareness videos about breast cancer were presented, and brochures and instructions to join the voluntary work were provided. The event took place in accordance with the precautionary measures and the principal of social distancing, believing in the importance of voluntary work and in conformity with the annual strategic plan and the realization of the Saudi Vision 2030. In this event, the unit used volunteer programs commensurate with the needs of society, and promoted the spirit of volunteerism among the female members.
