The Academic Council secretariat is pleased to announce the good news and congratulate the staff members whose academic promotions have been approved by His Excellency the President of the University, as stated in the (third) session of the Academic Council, for the academic year 1442 A.H. We wish them more successes in the field of scientific research, and supplicate Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to encompass them with His care and support, enabling them to achieve their ambitions and accomplish their objectives.

Names and promotions of academic staff members:

  1. Promotion of Dr. Samir bin Hassan Muhammad Qari, Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the Jamoum University College, to the rank of professor.
  2. Promotion of Dr. Saleh bin Muhammad Saleh Baslamah, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Computer and Information Systems, to the rank of professor.
  3. Promotion of Dr. Khalid bin Talal Abdullah Abu Al-Shamat, Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Protection at the College of Dentistry, to the rank of associate professor.
  4. Promotion of Dr. Ashraf bin Nabil Abdullah Abd Rabbo, Assistant Professor in the Department of Drugs and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, to the rank of associate professor.
  5. Promotion of Dr. Iftikar bint Hamid Ahmad Munshi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the College of Designs, to the rank of associate professor.
  6. Promotion of Dr. Huwaida bint Bakhit Hamid Al-Lahibi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Shari`ah at the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to the rank of associate professor.

The secretariat of the Academic Council made appropriate recommendations for the topics included in the agenda of the aforementioned session.
