Dr. Ayman Ali Mohammed Shahawi, Assistant Professor, Biology Department, Al-Jomoum University College, held a seminar on Sunday, 29/5/1438, titled “Importance of Biotechnology and its Different Applications”. The seminar was attended by the Head of the Biology Department, Department staff, staff of other departments and students. Dr. Shahawi discussed the importance of red, green, blue and white biotechnology and noted its importance in producing some pest-resistant plants to reduce usage of pesticide and increase productivity.
