The General Department of Educational Services at Umm Al-Qura University launched an educative campaign entitled, "Safe Education" to provide a safe and healthy educational environment for the students of the university.
The campaign showed the efforts exerted by the department and its cooperation with the bodies and sectors concerned with carrying out the precautionary measures inside laboratories. This is in a way that guarantees social distancing, raises the level of health awareness of the female students, and decreases the chances of the spread of Coronavirus during the learning process.
The campaign targeted the students of the scientific departments to guarantee their safe return to their facilities and laboratories, and enable them to start their educational courses according to the precautionary measures followed during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The General Supervisor of the Department of Educational Services, Dr. Khalid Al-Mutairi, pointed out that the campaign reflects the orientation and the keenness of Umm Al-Qura University to continue the distance learning process and to apply the measures that guarantee the safety of all participants in the educational process: students and academic staff members. These measures should also be compatible with the aspirations and the constant assurance of the wise leadership (may Allah grant it success) on the safety of all citizens. The leadership directs all establishments, including educational institutions, to achieve this end.
This campaign assures the role of General Department of the Educational Services in creating a safe educational environment for the students of the university, and raising health awareness by providing guiding leaflets and educative programs, produced by all educational sectors, inside the facilities and laboratories. Moreover, the campaign asserts the application of the measures approved by the university for all courses requiring full attendance of students.
