Umm Al-Qura University Scouts took the initiative, in coordination with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, to prepare the most prominent mosques in the Holy City of Makkah for worshipers. This took place by providing the required preventive means and applying the precautionary measures to prevent coronavirus, out of its keenness on the safety of the worshipers.

A team from Umm Al-Qura Scouts organized worshipers' lines during the solar eclipse prayer in Makkah mosques on 29 Shawwal. They exerted efforts to provide comfort for the worshipers, and asserted the importance of applying the instructions issued by the ministry. They also participated in distributing masks and plastic prayer carpets. Moreover, they guided worshipers to the defined places for performing prayer.

The initiative includes organizing Friday Prayer at the most prominent mosques in the Holy City of Makkah. They also plan to distribute field teams at large mosques, as required, in coordination with the imams of the mosques that are affiliated to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
