The Deanship of Library Affairs is pleased to announce a remote training course on the use of the (ProQuest) database, in cooperation with ProQuest Company. The course includes an introduction to the following:
ProQuest Central is one of the largest and richest databases, with multi-format content (periodicals, journals, newspapers, reports, etc.), in addition to being multidisciplinary.
ProQuest Dissertations and Theses database is considered to be the largest database for master's and doctoral theses in the world.
ProQuest Ebook Central platform is the e-book platform of ProQuest.

The practical application of the access, research, and retrieval mechanism.
Questions and answers.
The training course will be held on Wednesday, 6 Ramadan, corresponding to 29 April 2020, from 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Allows using the website with a keyboard
This mode enables people with motor impairments to operate the website by using the keyboard Tab, Shift+Tab, and the Enter keys. Users can also use speech recognition software such as Dragon Naturally Speaking.
Colorblind Mode
Adjusts the website for colorblind users
This mode adjusts the website for colorblind users such as Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia, and others. It also helps users with Cataracts and Glaucoma.
Dyslexia Friendly Mode
Helps users with Dyslexia
This mode adjusts the website to be easier to read for people with Dyslexia, which is a reading disability characterized by trouble with reading despite normal intelligence.
ADHD Friendly Mode
Reduces distractions and improve focus
This mode helps users with ADHD and Neurodevelopmental disorders to read, browse, and focus on the main website elements more easily while significantly reducing distractions.
Blindness Mode
Allows using the site with your screen-reader
This mode configures the website to be compatible with screen-readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. A screen-reader is software for blind users that is installed on a computer and smartphone, and websites must be compatible with it.
