The Permanente Committee for Scholarships and Training held its ninth session for the academic year 1437/1438 H on Wednesday Jumada 11, 1438 H. It was headed by  the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi and attended by the Supervisor General of the Scholarships Department  Dr. Ahmed bin Yusuf Barqawi and all members of the committee.

Secretary of the Committee Mr.Wael bin Abdulraziq Shaldoum, said that the committee has discussed the topics included on the agenda and has taken the proper recommendations, as follows:

• 5 teaching assistants and lecturers were recommended to receive scholarship approval.
• 7 scholarship students were recommended to receive extension approval to study language.
• 3 scholarship students were recommended to receive extension approval to study MSc.
• 8 scholarship students were recommended to receive extension approval to study PhD.
• 1 scholarship student was recommended to promote his scholarship.
• 5 scholarship students were recommended for university and major change.
• 2 scholarship students were recommended  for ending their scholarships.
