Her Excellency Prof. Suzan bint Sadaqah Abdul-Aziz Basyouni participated with the Intellectual Awareness Unit at Umm Al-Qura University in the awareness program entitled: "Runaway Girls and Western Ideas". The program was held on Wednesday, 26 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., in Al-Jawhara Hall, for all girls at all levels of public and university education. The event witnessed the participation of Her Excellency the Advisor to the UQU Vice President, Haifaa Fida, and a number of distinguished members in a lecture discussing, girls who run away: a phenomenon or a problem; the causes and solutions for this issue; and the role of the psychological counselor in addressing this problem.

The program was attended by the Vice President for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, the Vice Dean of Educational Affairs, Dr. Samirah Al-Abdali, the Director of the Intellectual Unit, Dr. Nouf Al-Jueid, and a number of educational supervisors and school leaders
